1st Challenge Chosen!

Hey, all! I know I said I'd hold a poll, but... I've already picked my first challenge. I'm sorry! But I have over 50 challenges still to write synopsis for and... man, that's too much!

The chosen challenge will be revealed when I finally get TS3 up and running! Almost done - just gotta re-install  my Store stuff!

Cheers,

Daily Summaries: FOUR SUMMARIES!! (Bachelorette, Beat the Reaper, Big Brother, & Black Hearts!)

Hi, all! Today I'm posting FOUR challenge synopsis: the classic Bachelorette Challenge, MistyDW's Beat the Reaper ChallengeBig Brother Challenge, & the awesome fantasy challenge called Black Hearts! (For those of you who enjoy survival challenges, I highly recommend Beat the Reaper: it puts its own unique twist on that challenge genre!)

Without further ado, here are the synopsis!

**DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH: A BACHELORETTE CHALLENGE**

Leslie Clemens seemed to be the luckiest girl in the world. As CEO of Canine Cafe (an Internet cafe which allows guests to bring their dogs in with them), she was as rich as a princess. Below the surface, however, Leslie faced a different dilemma... finding true love. Most of her former suitors had turned out to be jerks, gold diggers, or both. How was she going to find "the one" amidst beaus seeking her hand purely for her fortune?

Then it hit her: If she couldn't find the perfect man, she'd make him come to her. As she thought about how to do so, she reached into her pocket, slipping out her cell phone and dialing the number of a popular TV show host...

**DANCING WITH DEATH: A BEAT THE REAPER CHALLENGE**
Kelsey always was an outcast. From her inability to look people in the eyes to her lack of social skills, there was only one person she trusted that would always love her... her mother, Marie.

But when Kelsey was twenty, her world fell apart. Her mother was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer.

A new treatment existed that could potentially save Marie's life. Unfortunately, it cost ten thousand simoleons. Where in the world could Kelsey get that kind of money?

As she flicked on the TV in her mother's hospital room, an advertisement for Beat the Reaper cropped up.  She knew that Beat the Reaper's contestants often died, but the reward for winning was 1 million simoleons. With that kind of money, she could easily afford her mother's treatment AND have money to spare. And if she lost... well, at least she would be with her mother. Without hesitation, Kelsey dialed the number on the screen...

**AMONG THE DEAD: A BIG BROTHER CHALLENGE**

There's a particular house in Los Anigos that no Sim dares to go near. The oldest home in town, it glows with a mysterious light. Many occult fans knew that it was haunted, and began to fight each other over the house. In order to stop their feud from becoming violent, the local TV show host offered to host a contest... whoever could stay in the house the longest would get to keep it! And thus the battle began...

**DARKNESS BEATS: A BLACK HEARTS CHALLENGE**

When Gabriel Darkheart was two years old, his father was killed by villagers who wanted to roast the boy as a witch. His mother was mortally wounded, but she escaped with him and handed him over to an old friend of hers... a fairy named May Leafstone. May already had a son, but she couldn't refuse her dying best friend. And thus Gabriel gained a mother and a brother, Rocky Leafstone.

The three of them spent many years of love happiness together. But when Gabriel was twelve, the small family was attacked by the angry villagers of Arden, who brutally murdered May and locked Rocky and Gabriel in the attic to burn. With all of his strength, Rocky used his small wings to carry Gabriel out through a window. But their mother was gone, and as they gazed into the depths of the flames consuming their home, they knew that she would never come back.

Neither Rocky nor Gabriel ever forgave the villagers for what had happened that night. But Rocky was old enough to understand that if he took revenge, innocents would die along with the guilty. Gabriel was too young to know that some of the villagers were innocent, and led a pack of hungry wolves into Arden to feast on them. He also burned Arden to the ground, just like the villagers had done to his house all those years ago.

Gabriel was almost killed in retaliation, but he and Rocky managed to escape to an old castle, hiding from the villagers. Though Gabriel couldn't directly harm them, he practiced his magic until it had reached the point where he could cast destructive curses from a distance. Horrified, Rocky begged his brother to leave the village people alone. Gabriel agreed, but only on the condition that he would be allowed to rule the village. And thus Gabriel became the king of Arden, gaining an invaluable servant in the process.

But Gabriel wasn't a fool. He knew that if he died without an heir, Arden would become a bright, happy place once more. And so he sent Rocky out to find the woman worthy to bear his heir. Rocky was happy that Gabriel was changing his life, but little did he know what would happen to the girl once Gabriel no longer needed her...

Whew! That was a LOT today. Tomorrow, I will again post four challenges. You'll have to wait to find out what they are (muahahaha).

Happy Simming!

Daily Summaries: The Asylum Challenge!

Hi! Yesterday, I posted a synopsis for Aliens Among Us part I. Today's post is on a classic Sims challenge... the Asylum challenge!

Those of you who've played other EA games might recognize the character I'm using as my heroine, by the way. Who is this character? Read on.

**New Kind Of Wonderland**

Being insane is one thing. Being plucked out of the past and flung into the twenty-first century is another. After her mysterious arrival in modern Beach City, Alice Liddel marvels at the technological wonders of our present day.

Of course, claiming to be Alice Liddel usually gets folks thrown into an asylum... which is exactly what happens to Alice. The good news is that if she completes a goal set for her by her psychiatrist, she's outta there for good! It's not going to be easy, thanks to the asylum's crappy furniture and overcrowding. But Alice is determined to complete the goal set for her... and get out of this place once and for all. Can she pull it off?

I know, I know, it isn't as interesting as yesterday's. But I'm writing these synopsis' in the order the challenges are listed in my binder. Expect to see the (lame) story for the Bachelorette challenge tomorrow!

Thanks for reading, and happy Simming!

Daily Synopsis: Aliens Among Us

Hey, everybody! I still don't have the thousand dollars to buy the laptop, but I thought I'd go ahead and share synopsisis of the stories I plan to do anyway. Just giving y'all a little "sneak peek" on what's to come. :)

Today's synopsis is for the Aliens Among Us challenge by MistyDW on Modthesims. If you haven't checked out her challenges yet, I recommend them - they're the most amazing challenges I've ever seen!

I'm posting all summaries in alphabetical order, due to them being organized that way in my "challenge binders" (a binder with tons of different challenges printed off and organized with page protectors... am I OCD much?) But I can't wait until I can share the actual stories with you guys!

Once I've posted all the summaries, I'll poll you guys on which one you want me start with. :)

...Okay, enough with the boring stuff. Let's get to the synopsis of Starcrossed!

**STARCROSSED**

Even though Allegra Haysting escaped the aliens two years ago, her problems are far from over. She's as poor as a church mouse due to Nathanial Kent's brutal taxes, for one thing.

And the nightmares...

Oh God... the nightmares...

But Allegra does have a bright spot in her life... her fiance Garrett. He's everything she's ever dreamed of, and they finally got engaged after five years of dating.

Nathanial Kent and his guards, however, extinguishes that bright spot, crashing her ceremony to arrest the groom. Posters are then put up around town, announcing his execution in 60 days.

Devastated, Allegra visits the Oracle, a fortune telling recluse who lives near Mt. Kent. The Oracle tells her that the only way to save Garrett is to win the hearts of her fellow islanders and replace Nathanial as leader. Allegra never really saw herself as the leader type, but she vows both to save Garrett and put an end to Nathanial's corrupt reign. Can she complete the ten necessary tasks within the short time she has?

...And that's my synopsis. Hope you all enjoyed it, and happy Simming!
